Proselytism in Israel
[edit]The article says One tactic is to plaster posters asking Israelis to boycott shops where Messianic Jews are owners or employees; another is to report Messianic Jews to the Interior ministry, which is charged with enforcing an Israeli law forbidding proselytizing.
However, per Religion in Israel: While missionary activity itself is not illegal in Israel, it is illegal to offer money or other material inducements. Legislation banning missionary work outright has been attempted in the past.
So is there "an Israeli law forbidding proselytizing"? a455bcd9 (Antoine) (talk) 08:15, 26 August 2024 (UTC)
Error in the section on the symbol.
[edit]There is an ongoing dispute as to whether or not the seal dates from the 1st century CEref name="Schmalz"/> or if it is a 20th-century invention. 2607:FEA8:2A80:5500:C40A:8BE0:BD69:723C (talk) 00:46, 3 October 2024 (UTC)

In the article lead, on the second line it reads:
"generally considered to be a sect of Christianity, {refs here}, including"
The comma after the refs before "including" needs to be removed. 155.190.60.34 (talk) 02:22, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
Missing word in UMJC reference
[edit]This is the current sentence: "Many of these congregations belong to the International Association of Messianic Congregations and Synagogues (IAMCS), the Union of Messianic Congregations (UMJC), or Tikkun International."
The sentence should read (boldface only included to show inserted word): "Many of these congregations belong to the International Association of Messianic Congregations and Synagogues (IAMCS), the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations (UMJC), or Tikkun International."
Since I do not have permission to edit this article, I submit this topic as a request to those who can to consider adding that word. All other references to the UMJC in this article include the word "Jewish" in that position. Rcobleigh (talk) 01:55, 24 April 2025 (UTC)
